As Marketing & Web Development Coordinator of ASOSU I created a brand system for the student government, which did not have a coherent system prior. The brand consisted of a new official seal, a formally set primary color palette, as well as advisory notes on the use of imagery, typography, and secondary colors. These guidelines were compiled into a transition document delivered to my successor in the following administration.
The goals of the brand guidelines were to confer a sense of duty on the part of the student government while portraying it as an accessible and open institution run by and for regular students. As a democratic body, its ethos needed to be both businesslike yet humane. Since its adoption, the student government seal remains in use.
